Located at the corner of 2nd & Emmert Street, Jay’s barber shop has been a family owned business and a staple in Talihina for over 60 years. Jays’s grandson Brandon now operates the business and has been barbering since 2008. Specializing in men’s haircuts without the use of scissors, he uses “vacuum clippers” which is just as it sounds. Clippers with a vacuum hose attachment that, other than a few hairs here and there, almost completely keeps the hair off of the customer and their clothes. And rest assured that Brandon can absolutely do any haircut you’d expect from a Barber using scissors.
