Headlines Barber Academy is a post-secondary private vocational school specializing in the teaching of all facets of the barbering profession. It is centrally located in the metropolitan area of Kansas City and within easy access to car, bus, and public transit authority. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, hands-on training to aspiring barbers. We believe in equipping our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the industry, while also fostering a sense of community and professionalism. In order to enroll, you must be at least 16 years old and have either a high school diploma or GED. To graduate, you will then need to complete the 1200-hour barber program and pass a state exam in order to be given a license.
