Jay B. Brown (Owner) has been cutting hair since he was fourteen years old. As a teenager in Philadelphia, he taught himself to cut using his nephews’ heads as practice. He would later hone his skills as the go-to barber for his shipmates while serving in the US Navy IYAOYAS. Let me introduce my other barbers in the shop. Searight a charismatic barber, who brings that southern hospitality from Biloxi, MS ( a.k.a The Third Coast) His journey began several years ago where he attended Associated Barber College better know as A.B.C. Ray, born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I moved to San Diego when I was 19 served in the Marine Corps for 8 years and that's when I started cutting hair.
